The Directors of AVAC (Association of Veterinary Acupuncturists of Canada) are glad, and proud, to introduce the Canadian Association of Veterinary Acupuncturists.
The objectives of AVAC are to advance the science and art of Veterinary Acupuncture. To this end, AVAC shall :
- Help maintain the highest possible standards of diagnosis and treatment with acupuncture in animals ;
- Establish communication among those engaged in the study of veterinary acupuncture, which is a branch of veterinary science ;
- Establish, maintain and publish a register of qualified (or certified) veterinary acupuncturists ;
- Promote and encourage scientific investigation and research into the philosophy, technique and practice of veterinary acupuncture ;
- Establish seminars, basic and advanced courses, and other forms of meetings, for education and training in the principles and practices of veterinary acupuncture ;
The Directors hope sincerely AVAC will be a valuable link between the public and practitioners who are involved in veterinary acupuncture. The Directors of AVAC are at your disposition for any complementary information.
